La commission sectorielle du secteur aéronautique occupe en tant que « NANDT Board Switzerland » une place particulière au sein des commissions techniques et sectorielles. L’office fédéral de l’aviation civile (OFAC) reconnaît l’ASEND en tant que National Aerospace NDT Board au sens de l’ordonnance UE 1321/2014 (EASA Part. 145).
